Grocery explosion in southern France kills seven people, including two children

A powerful explosion in a grocery store in the city of Saint-Laurent-de-la-Salanc in southern France claimed the lives of seven people. It is reported by radio France Bleu.
Among the dead, according to media reports, there are two children. In addition, one person was seriously injured, three were slightly injured, and another 25 were evacuated from the scene.
A fire ignited behind the explosion, and 85 firefighters were involved in extinguishing it. Due to the incident, 11 apartments located in the same building as a grocery store were destroyed. The causes of the explosion are unknown, but local gendarmes have already launched an investigation into the incident.
On January 9, 2022, New York City experienced the deadliest fire in 30 years. As a result, at least 19 people were killed in a fire that broke out in a residential building in the New York Bronx, including nine children. In addition, at least 63 people were injured to varying degrees from smoke and fire.
