Israeli troops in northern Gaza came under attack by militants.
The Israel Defense Forces said several soldiers were slightly injured after an attack by Hamas militants in northern Gaza, a major first violation of the ceasefire.
The Times of Israel reports this.
According to the IDF, three explosive devices were detonated near IDF positions in two different locations in the northern Gaza Strip, in violation of ceasefire agreements.
The army says that in one of the incidents, fire was also fired at soldiers who returned fire.
“In both cases, IDF forces were within the agreed ceasefire lines,” the IDF adds.
At the same time, a spokesman for Hamas's military wing says its fighters were responding to a “clear violation” of the IDF ceasefire in the northern Gaza Strip, which led to the clashes. It contains no other parts.
Hamas said it was “devotedly observing the truce.” They called on the mediators to “assist the occupiers to comply with all the terms of the truce on the ground and in the air.”
Let us recall that Western politicians insist that the regime of silence in Gaza must continue, because among the hostages taken by terrorists on October 7, there are many people with dual citizenship.
Note that 11 Israeli hostages were released on the fourth day of the truce.
