Rostec announced the launch of serial production of the T-14 Armata tank

The Rostec State Corporation announced the launch of serial production of the T-14 tank on the Armata platform. The first deputy director of the state corporation Vladimir Artyakov said this in an interview with the Russia-24 TV channel, Interfax reports.
“Among the main, I would say, powerful or breakthrough projects for the supply of the Ministry of Defense, we can note our new T-14 tank, which everyone in the world is already talking about, we are launching it into serial production,” Artyakov noted.
Also, the representative of “Rostec” noted that now the state corporation is approaching one hundred percent fulfillment of the state defense order. Earlier in the material of the publication “Military-Industrial Courier” told about the tests of the “Armata” tank in Syria. The publication noted that military tests revealed a number of shortcomings.
In November, Major General Alexander Shestakov, acting head of the Main Armored Directorate (GABTU) of the Russian Ministry of Defense, announced that the completion of tests of the T-14 is scheduled for 2022.
