Sergunina: accepting applications for a competition for IT developers has begun in the capital
The capital has started accepting applications for participation in the competition for the awards of the mayor of Moscow “Leaders of digital transformation”, according to the website of the mayor and the city government.
Moscow Deputy Mayor Natalya Sergunina said that the competition is being held for the third time, its goal is to find new technological solutions for specific urban problems and to support talented developers.
This year, the competition will again be held online, the application can be submitted until October 22 on the official website of the competition. The teams that have created the 10 best IT solutions will receive 1 million rubles each.
The head of the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development, Alexei Fursin, explained that the competition has tasks related to supporting small and medium-sized businesses, as well as using artificial intelligence in various fields.
The head of the information technology department, Eduard Lysenko, in turn, noted that Moscow is interested in the further development of this technology.
The organizer of the Leaders of Digital Transformation competition is the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development with the assistance of the Information Technology Department; the project operator is the Moscow Innovation Agency.
Earlier, Sergunina spoke about online services for the capital's small business. In the first half of 2021, Moscow businessmen used the online products of the Small Business of Moscow portal more than 26 thousand times. The services and services presented simplify doing business in Moscow and help its development.
