Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced the imminent catastrophe of the country due to the coronavirus. Reported by Kurir.
“Today is the hardest day for Serbia, but the next few days will probably be even harder,” said the leader of the state. Vucic cited record figures per day – 47 deaths from complications caused by COVID-19. The situation is complicated by the lack of bed capacity, which can lead to a disastrous scenario.
Russia resumed flights with Serbia on November 1. The plane from Moscow to Belgrade flies twice a week.
Earlier it was reported that German Chancellor Angela Merkel promised to negotiate with colleagues to close all ski resorts in Europe. The opposite position on the issue is taken by Austria, which the Germans will try to convince. The French and Italian authorities have already announced the closure of the resorts.
