Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić rhetorically asked why NATO in the current situation, does not bomb Moscow in the same way that Belgrade once did during the Kosovo war in 1999.
This is reported by the Serbian newspaper Danas.
Vučić believes that in international relations the right of the strongest is respected, so morality can be forgotten.
— Serbia respects international law. Do you know who can say that? Serbia can say, and Ukraine can say. Two unfortunate countries that have suffered. Everyone else talks about it at some point,” Vučić said.
The President of the country called Serbia a small ship, and said that no one should forget how someone treated him in the past.
Speaking of sanctions against Russia, Foreign Policy Center spokeswoman Suzana Grubesic said the sanctions the US is pushing for protect not so much Ukraine as Taiwan, to show China what will happen to it if he will decide to return the island.
Suzana Grubesic said that the example of Serbia violated international law and that Serbia never received compensation for NATO aggression. In her opinion, the EU will finance the reconstruction of Ukraine after the war, which means less money for the Western Balkans.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said he did not believe that anyone other than the Ukrainian people would finance the reconstruction after the war.
It was previously reported that the Seimas of Lithuania wants to boycott Serbian Airlines, which help to circumvent the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation.
