The roads in the capital cannot be driven.

Heavy snowfalls began in Serbia: in particular, Belgrade was covered with snow.

This was reported in TSN.Rank on December 13.

There are no roads in the capital, and there is practically no public transport. Several cars crushed trees that could not bear the weight of the snow. The international airport did not work for several hours, and the road leading to it was also closed. Intercity routes are icy, accidents have become more frequent. Trains also run intermittently: in one of them, passengers were stuck for seven hours.

Meanwhile, the west of Serbia is almost completely without electricity due to snowfalls.

As reported, the Balkans are suffer from a severe storm. The north of Greece suffered the most: a woman died there, whose car was washed away by water. Difficult situation in Bulgaria and Albania. There, because of the rains and the rising of the soil, many mountain villages were cut off from the world. Several dozen villages were left without electricity.
