Serbia and Real Madrid striker has contracted the coronavirus after a crushing victory over the Russian national team in the League of Nations match. This was reported on the website of the Spanish club.
In a statement from the press service of the “cream” notes that the test of 22-year-old Jovic for COVID-19 gave a positive result. The player was checked on Friday.
Jovic became the author of two goals in the team's winning match against Stanislav Cherchesov's charges. The Serbs beat the Russians with a score of 5: 0, depriving the latter of a chance to break into the elite division of the League of Nations.
Jovic joined Madrid in the summer of 2019. Serb is not a regular player. He has 21 appearances and two goals for Real Madrid.
Defending the colors of the national team, Jovic played 11 games and scored five goals.
