Senegal considers militants of the “Wagner Group” – part of the Malian Armed Forces, and the Tuaregs – terrorists

The Senegalese Foreign Ministry summoned Ukrainian Ambassador Yuriy Pivovarov over a report in which the diplomat allegedly provided support to Tuareg rebels in Mali who attacked Wagner PMC militants.

What this report is is not specified. It appears to have been removed from the web.

Senegal said they were “surprised” by “a video from the Ukrainian army, accompanied by a comment from the Ukrainian ambassador himself about the unequivocal and unconditional support for terrorists” after they destroyed a unit of the “Armed Forces of Mali” at the end of July, which led to significant human losses.”
