In the United States of America there is no confirmation yet of the dispatch of engineering North Korean troops in the Russian Federation in order to support Russian aggression in Ukraine.
This was stated by Deputy Speaker of the United States Department of Defense Sabrina Singh, Ukrinform reports.
“I have nothing on this,” she replied when asked if the Pentagon saw signs of North Korean troops being sent to war in Ukraine.
According to her, Washington is aware of the position of the regime in the DPRK, which supports the military aggression of the Russian Federation and provides the aggressor country with various military support.
Recall that expert Alexander Kovalenko believes that Russia no longer has its own engineering troops, because after more than two years of war in Ukraine they were simply destroyed. This is why Putin asked Kim Jong-un for help.
In turn, ISW found no evidence that North Korea is preparing to send engineering forces to the occupied Donetsk region.
