One of the Waymo unmanned minivans stuck at an intersection in Chandler, Arizona. The company had to send specialists to the site, but when they arrived, the car began to leave them and, as a result, blocked traffic on the road.
The incident was recorded on camera by a Waymo drone passenger. Traffic cones caused the autopilot to fail. At one intersection, the car wanted to turn right, but they were in the right lane. The autopilot decided to turn, but eventually stopped between lanes.
I had to call technical support. However, the drone tried to “escape” from her and again created a slurred situation on the road. As a result, the car still managed to catch up, it was transferred to manual mode and the trip was completed.
