Seismologists told about three earthquakes near the Kuriles in a day

Seismologists have recorded three earthquakes per day with a magnitude of 3.0 to 5.4 near the Kuril Islands.

“All earthquakes were recorded near the northern group of islands. The magnitude ranged from 3.0 to 5.4, ”TASS reports from the Sakhalin branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

It is clarified that no tsunami threat was announced.

Earlier, seismologists recorded an earthquake of magnitude 4.9 off the coast of Kamchatka.
