Searches are underway at the Institute of Laser Physics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Its directors are suspected of an illegal contract between the institute and his “daughter”. As a result, the institute suffered damage in the amount of two million rubles. A criminal case was initiated under the article “Abuse of Official Powers”.
From the documents of the contract it follows that the work was carried out by the Interbranch Scientific and Technical Association “Siberian Laser Center”. However, the investigation believes that the work was done by employees of the institute, formally employed at the MNTA SLC.
– In MNTA “SLC” actually did not purchase goods, services and works necessary to fulfill the terms of the contract. Thus, the organization did not incur any costs for the performance of work under the contract. Thus, their implementation was entrusted to the employees of the Institute of Nuclear Physics, – quotes a source in law enforcement agencies “KP-Novosibirsk”.
