Second lockdown announced in Austria
From November 17 to December 6, a lockdown is introduced in Austria in order to prevent overloading the healthcare system against the background of an increase in the incidence of coronavirus, TASS reports.
From Monday it will be possible to leave the house only for good reasons, large shops, beauty and massage salons will be closed.
Grocery supermarkets, gas stations, bank and post offices, service centers will only work from 06:00 to 19:00 local time.
Schoolchildren are switching to distance learning.
Restaurants, entertainment establishments and fitness centers have already closed. There is a mandatory mask regime in shops, public institutions and transport.
