Searches are carried out at the Novosibirsk Institute of Laser Physics – media
Security officials came to the Novosibirsk Institute of Laser Physics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Searches are underway in the institution, “Continent Siberia” reports, citing a source.
According to the newspaper, a criminal case has been opened against the director of the institute, Alexei Taichenachev. He is suspected of abuse of office.
Alexey Taichenachev has been the director of the institute since 2016.
Earlier it was reported that the FSB had figured out a student who wanted to stage a terrorist attack at a Kurgan university.
