Moscow. 24 August. INTERFAX.RU – The Kurgan search group found a Soviet IL-4 bomber in the village of Vinogrobl, Kursk region, the regional administration reports.
The place of search was indicated by the villagers. They reported that the plane was shot down in Kursk over the railway station in June 1942. There were three crew members on board. Currently, search engines are establishing their names.
According to the regional administration, this is the ninth aircraft from the Second World War, discovered this year.
