The American company Seagate Technology has presented new models of external drives designed to work in tandem with gaming computers – the FireCuda Gaming Hard Drive and FireCuda Gaming Hub models.
They are equipped with multi-color RGB LED lighting that can be configured using proprietary Seagate Toolkit software, and can be synchronized with other gaming peripherals using Razer Chroma RGB technology. The FireCuda Gaming Hard Drive uses a USB 3.2 Gen1 interface for power. The FireCuda Gaming Hub has USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports, but requires an external power supply to operate.
The first option is available in 1 TB, 2 TB, or 5 TB versions for $ 79.99, $ 109.99, and $ 179.99, respectively. The FireCuda Gaming Hub is available in 8 TB or 16 TB versions for $ 219.99 or $ 399.99. Speaking of gaming, Acer today unveiled the powerful Predator Helios 300 gaming laptop.
