The publication Nature Communication has published the results of a study in which scientists have determined what causes global catastrophes on the planet.
So, in a scientific work on the causes of extreme bad weather around the world, it turned out that it is human activity that is the main factor in global disasters with nature. According to a report from the University of California, the increase in precipitation, as well as an increase in the number of floods and landslides, are due to air pollution from harmful emissions.
As part of the study, specialists studied global climate data using artificial intelligence. As a result, it became obvious that in recent years the maximum amount of precipitation has increased, as well as days with very heavy rains, which damage the infrastructure of cities and the environment. And often this is due to human activities, in particular, greenhouse gas emissions.
