People love to talk about the dangers of gadgets to humans, and they can really bring problems if overused. Fortunately, they still do not affect intelligence, according to scientists from the University of Cincinnati.
They said there is no scientific evidence that smartphones and other electronic devices harm a person's cognitive abilities. Instead, digital technology seems to be changing the way we use our cognitive abilities, and these changes may even be beneficial. For example, a smartphone perfectly “knows” the way to the desired store, so a person does not need to look for a map or ask for directions, which allows you to direct the freed up mental resources to something else.
That is, in fact, smartphones and computers now perform the function of auxiliary tools: they store information and then provide it when it is needed.
