Scientists from the United States have created an ultra-fast and ultra-accurate test for coronavirus
In the United States, a laboratory at Northwestern University has come up with a test system that detects coronavirus in less than five minutes. It is reported by “Interfax”.
The ultra-fast test is also accurate. When tested, it showed an accuracy of 100%.
The system is antigen-based and detects coronavirus proteins. In addition, the test can detect different variants of the virus.
Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor came up with a test that detects covid in any biomaterial. The method can be used for additional analysis in case of questionable results of the first study. The test was developed by specialists from the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor. It detects the virus in blood plasma, feces, rectal smears and autopsy material, bronchoalveolar lavage and sputum.
