On July 10, the final events of the All-Russian Student Graduation “With Science in the Heart” will take place, in which 700 Russian universities are taking part.

The events are held within the framework of the Year of Science and Technology. On this day, a large-scale online marathon will take place, in which all graduates of Russia will be able to take part. From 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, artists and bloggers will watch and comment on the best student performances of the 2020-21 academic year, as well as go live with students across the country.

Graduates will be able to ask questions and hear advice, as well as parting words from well-known public figures, leaders of the scientific and business communities, and politicians. On the same day, at 22:30 on Channel One, the alumni will broadcast a festive concert: performances of artists with congratulations, stories about outstanding students and the solemn presentation of the cups “Best student of the year”, participation of well-known speakers from different fields: science, business, culture , sports, medicine and others.

On the eve of the holiday, the organizers of the All-Russian Student Graduation – the presidential platform Russia – Land of Opportunities and the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia – conducted a survey of 10,000 Russian students and learned how graduates evaluate their studies at the university, what they plan to do after graduation and how much they want to earn. The large-scale survey “Portrait of a Graduate – 2021” showed that immediately after graduation, the majority (37%) of young people plan to continue their education, another 30% will get hired. 6% of graduates speak about starting their own business. Another 4% plan to go freelance. A third of this year's alumni had additional internships, and more than half (63%) had a paid job during their studies. About 20% are already “burning” with their work: they admitted that during their studies at the university they fell in love with their profession. As for salary expectations, the absolute majority (53%) of graduates after university count on a salary of 25-55 thousand rubles, another 15% want to receive from 56 to 85 thousand rubles. And 7% of the children surveyed expect a salary of 100 thousand and more.

In Russian science, there are many opportunities for graduates: employment in leading organizations, conducting their own research and development. Moreover, on the most advanced equipment, on the basis of youth laboratories and the latest centers, with financial and grant support. Today Russian science is able to satisfy the highest demands and expectations of graduates. And for this, the national project “Science and Universities” provides many tools: the instrument base is being updated, Scientific and Educational Centers (REC) and World-class Scientific Centers (NTSMU) are being created. And in the Russian Science Foundation (RSF) for the implementation of his project, a young scientist can receive a grant of 15 million rubles.

Recall that in 2021, the All-Russian student graduation ceremony is dedicated to the Year of Science and Technology. For several weeks, the All-Russian campaign # SNaukoyinHeart was held on social networks. University graduates posted stories about their own achievements in the scientific, social, sports, cultural and other spheres on their social networks.

In addition, within the framework of the All-Russian student online graduation project “Career Time” of the presidential platform “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”, together with the HR partner, the international staffing group ANCOR, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Ural Federal University, a resume assessment service was launched … To get an audit of a resume from a professional for free, a graduate needs to register in the service, use a constructor to create or attach a file with an existing resume. After that, the document will be checked by an experienced recruiter – he will conduct an assessment and give some useful advice. Graduates registered in the service will also have access to career advice: more than 80 articles, webinars and training videos will help you choose the right company and competently prepare for all stages of employment. Materials were selected by the Ural Federal University. The resume check service will be available on the main page of the vremykaryery.rf portal until the end of summer, after which it will become a full-fledged element of the project's digital platform. Graduates who have used the platform will be invited to the all-Russian career campaign “Career Time”, where they will be able to share their employment stories with students of their universities.

Also, within the framework of the All-Russian Student Online Graduation, on July 9, the intellectual battle “Test” will be held, which will determine the most erudite team of alumni in 2021. And on July 10, it is planned to announce the winners of the “Best Academic Group of Alumni”. This is a competitive educational project for talented, active and close-knit student teams of graduating courses of the country's universities.
