The new German Chancellor Olaf Scholz warned Russia against an attack on Ukraine and said that Nord Stream 2 will face consequences in the event of an invasion.
– We want everyone to respect the integrity of the borders, – stressed Scholz, and added that Germany has a very clear view on this issue.
At the same time, he said that everything must be done to prevent a Russian invasion of Ukraine.
– Everyone understands that if this does not happen, then there will be no consequences, – said the chancellor.
Earlier, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that in the event of a Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Nord Stream 2 project would be stopped.
