Olaf Scholz called on Ukrainians in Germany to find a job.
Chancellor Germany Olaf Scholz said that Ukrainians with a residence permit and work will be able to stay in the country.
He said this during a speech at an event of the RND newspaper group, DW reports.
“The legal situation is such that residence here is not in doubt. Employment also leads to security of residence,” the chancellor noted.
Olaf Scholz also called on Ukrainians to find employment in Germany.
“We hope that those who came from Ukraine will work as soon as they are able to work. It is worth saying that many are already doing this, but there are still several hundred thousand of those who are urgently needed on the market labor,” added the German Chancellor.
Recall that the German Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Jäger told what awaits Ukrainians of military age in Germany.
