Russians fear Ukraine will use missiles

Local authorities in Akhtubinsk, located in the Astrakhan region of Russia, have introduced a “red” alert. The reason for this was the threat of a missile attack. The head of the municipal formation “City of Akhtubinsk” Alexander Sivakov provided residents with recommendations so that they could be in danger during the shelling.

People were thus urged to stay at home, avoid crowds and closely monitor official sources of information.

Also, a missile threat was announced in Stavropol on June 30. Governor Vladimir Vladimirov reported a possible threat to the region.

There were also temporary restrictions at the Astrakhan airport. Civilian aircraft were banned from landing and taking off for a while. However, the pause was quickly lifted.

The cities that were worried about the danger of missile use are located about 600 kilometers from the contact line. Whether there was really a threat to the mentioned regions on Monday evening is unknown.

By the way, not far from Akhtubinsk there is the Kapustin Yar test site – the facility from which Russia launched its much-vaunted Oreshnik.

In the evening, other cities that Russia temporarily occupied were under attack. Thus, explosions due to the probable use of missiles were heard in the Krasnoperekopsk region of Crimea. Due to the danger, the Kerch Bridge was closed to traffic. According to Russian propaganda, the peninsula was attacked by Storm Shadow missiles.

Also for the first time in a long time, missiles reached occupied Donetsk. There was a series of explosions and a detonation in the city. The metallurgical plant and the railway station in Yasinovataya were probably hit.
