After graduating from the Faculty of Economics at an unnamed university, Voronovskaya worked for some time in Ukraine in the banking sector, and since 2018 she has been living in Poland.

On her Instagram she called herself Ukrainian, but her grandparents have Polish roots.

In addition to working in the beauty salon, Kristina Voronovskaya worked in the office of the Civic Platform party.

What is Voronovskaya suspected of?

Social media users have noted that Soviet signal troops were stationed near the Polish village of Miedzyrzecze, where Tusk's assistant was born.

“It is quite possible that your assistant is the daughter of an officer. A GRU officer, that is, Russian military intelligence,” journalist Marcin Dobski wrote to Tusk on the X network.

Social media users have also written that Voronovskaya allegedly has relatives in Russia.

Commentators on the X network are jokingly writing that Voronovskaya is actually an SBU agent in Tusk's office.

What the government is saying Poland

The head of the chancery of the Prime Minister of Poland, Jan Grabiec, was forced to come out with a denial of the information about Voronovskaya.

He assured that the woman was checked by the special services before being hired in the Sejm. Grabetz also assured that Voronovska does not have access to any confidential information.

“Krystyna has been working with us at Civic Platform since 2022. She was hired as a secretary when we were looking for new people to expand the office before the election campaigns,” he said.

Jan Grabetz said that he personally recommended Voronovska and added that she works as an assistant to the MP under a contract.

The head of the Prime Minister's Office confirmed that Krystyna Voronovska was born in Poland, since her father served there as a soldier in the Soviet army. After Ukraine declared independence, Voronovska's father joined the Ukrainian army. Now he is a retired military man and works in security.

Recall that in Poland, the pro-Russian far-right political force “Confederation” held an anti-Ukrainian rally in front of the Sejm building.
