On the map published by Russian diplomats with gas prices in Europe, Crimea and Donbass are depicted as part of Ukraine.
The Russian Embassy in Sweden posted a map of Europe on Twitter, ignoring Vladimir Putin's territorial claims.
This “demarche” in the office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov drew the attention of the CNBC TV channel.
On the published map showing the level of gas prices in different European countries, Ukraine is shown within internationally recognized borders , despite the fact that Vladimir Putin claims that a number of Ukrainian regions are part of Russia.
As of Thursday, January 19, the post has already gained 7.8 million views.

As you know, the Kremlin has used radical measures to censor information about the war in Ukraine, recognizing the dissemination of “false information” as a criminal offense, punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
It is not clear whether the published map violates this law. CNBC reached out to the Russian embassy in Sweden for comment, but has yet to receive a response.
After Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and the occupation of parts of Ukraine, Putin announced the illegal annexation of four more besides Crimea Ukrainian regions – Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye. The pseudo-referendums held under the guns of Russian machine guns were declared illegal by the world community.
Recall that recently in the occupied Crimea a Ukrainian flag was seen flying in the village of Mezhvodnoye in the Black Sea region.
