SBU reports on the work of counterintelligence: exposed dozens of saboteurs

The counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine has exposed more than three dozen intelligence networks of the Russian Federation after the start of its aggression.

This was reported in the press center of the Ukrainian special service.

In addition, the SBU reported that more than 180 people were convicted of high treason and espionage in favor of the aggressor country.

In addition, more than two dozen SVR officers worked under the cover of Russian diplomats – they were expelled from the country and declared persona non grata.

According to the Ukrainian intelligence service, more than 300 enemy DRGs have been neutralized. At the same time, 26 saboteurs tried to infiltrate critical infrastructure facilities, as well as factories of the military-industrial complex.

& # 8212; More than 250 militants were punished by the court to different terms of imprisonment for crimes against the state security of Ukraine. Among them are the leaders and members of illegal armed groups and terrorist groups of the so-called & # 8220; L/DPR & # 8221 ;, – noted in the SBU.

Recall, earlier SBU press secretary Artem Dekhtyarenko told Facts ICTV that the Security Service of Ukraine did not open criminal proceedings on suspicion of high treason against the People's Deputy Yevgeny Shevchenko.

According to him, according to Art. 482-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, only the Prosecutor General or the person acting as him can start a pre-trial investigation against the people's deputy.

In turn, Shevchenko said earlier that the SBU had opened criminal proceedings against him.
