SBI conducted searches in the case of coal supplies from CADLO

On December 29, investigators from the State Bureau of Investigation and the SBU conducted searches in the case of a criminal scheme for the supply of coal from the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions by a group of Ukrainian citizens.

Investigative actions were carried out in places of possible storage of things or documents that are important for criminal proceedings.

As part of the investigation of this case, suspicions have already been announced to two people's deputies, in particular to the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the former Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Vladimir Demchishin, as well as to one civilian.

We are talking about several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

  • h. 1 and part 3 of Art. 258-5 (terrorist financing);
  • p. 1 tbsp. 111 (high treason);
  • h. 1 tbsp. 258-3 (creation of a terrorist organization).

On November 12, Vladimir Demchishin was handed a suspicion of assisting the “LPR” and “DPR” terrorist organizations. According to the investigation, from December 2014 to February 2015, he issued a number of orders on the appointment of representatives of the & # 8220; LPNR & # 8221; on positions of state enterprises. We are talking about companies located in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

And on December 8, the Pechersk District Court of Kiev granted the request of the investigator of the RRB to detain a suspect in order to participate in the consideration of a petition for the application of a preventive measure in the form of detention.
