SberSvuk was the first in Russia to launch Hi-Fi music

The Internet streaming audio service SberSvuk, part of the Sberbank product family, announced the addition of support for Hi-Fi music, thereby becoming the first domestic project of this kind with this function. From now on, SberSvuk subscribers have access to more than 35,000,000 songs in lossless format – without compression or loss of quality.

And all this in a standard subscription, at no additional cost. The FLAC codec is used to play HiFi tracks. It allows you to hear the music the way it was originally conceived and recorded by its creators. By default, SberSvuk plays tracks in MP3 format at bitrates – 128 kbps for all users and 320 kbps for premium subscribers.

FLAC keeps digital files relatively compact but delivers sound quality that is noticeably superior to MP3. The function is available on all mobile devices running iOS and Android operating systems. To activate it, you need to select any song with the Hi-Fi icon in the SberSvuk application and switch to Hi-Fi quality in the player or user profile. Tracks without compression can be listened to online or loaded into the memory of a mobile device. Meanwhile, a new brand of budget smartphones is entering the market.
