US President Joe Biden announced that he was introducing new sanctions against Russia. Under them, according to him, were individuals, legal entities and Russian elites.
– I am announcing additional sanctions against 400 Russian elites, legislators and defense companies in response to Putin's war in Ukraine. They personally benefit from the Kremlin's policies and they should share the pain,” Biden wrote on his Twitter.
According to the US Treasury Department, 328 State Duma deputies, enterprises and companies associated with the defense complex of Russia, as well as the head of Sberbank German Gref.
