Saudi Arabia has changed the rules for the entry of tourists into the country
Holders of tourist visas who have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus are eligible to enter Saudi Arabia without mandatory quarantine upon arrival. The Association of Tour Operators informs about it.
However, this rule does not concern the Russians so far, since the Sputnik V vaccine is not recognized in Saudi Arabia. Tourists vaccinated with one of the approved vaccines: Oxford / Astra Zeneca, Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna and Johnson and Johnson intend to let tourists without quarantine. Tourists who have received the Sinopharm or Sinovac vaccine are also allowed to enter, but they will have to receive an additional dose of one of the four vaccines approved in the Kingdom.
All tourists still need to provide a negative PCR test taken no earlier than 72 hours before departure.
Earlier, the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry Peter Siyjarto said that from July 27, Russian travelers who have been vaccinated against the coronavirus will not need to take additional tests to enter Hungary.
In turn, the vice-president of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia Dmitry Gorin believes that the new rules for entering Hungary can greatly increase the influx of tourists into the country.
