Air raid alarm is sounding in the city and the region, and a fire is also reported as a result of an explosion at the Saratov oil refinery.
“A UAV was destroyed over Saratov at night. Part of the debris fell in the industrial zone of the Zavodskoy district. All necessary emergency services are working at the scene. There are no casualties,” said the governor of the Saratov region.
Recall that Ukrainian drones successfully attacked a large convoy of missiles and ammunition in the city of Toropets in the Tver region. Satellite images showed significant destruction. Experts suggest that the new Ukrainian drones “Palyanytsya” could have been used for the attack.
The scale of the explosions was so powerful that it caused an earthquake measuring 2 points on the Richter scale. Tver Region Governor Igor Rudenya announced the evacuation of the population from nearby areas.
