The European Commission has already begun work on the sixth package of sanctions against the Russian Federation, including restrictions on the export of Russian oil.
The sixth package of EU sanctions against Russia is likely to be presented after Easter.
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty journalist Rikard Jozwiak announced this on Twitter on April 11.

“The big question will be how many oil products will be included as a full oil embargo, even with a phase-out period. On this issue, even with a phase-out period, it will be difficult to reach agreement,” he wrote.
Recall that in the country's president noted that not all countries in the West treat the aggressor country properly.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the sanctions imposed against Russia are not enough to to force the aggressor state to peace.
On April 8, the European Union approved the fifth package of sanctions against Russia because of its military aggression against Ukraine. The package contains measures to increase pressure on the Russian government and economy. The sanctions include the closure of ports and an embargo on coal.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the country is ready to pay Russia for gas supplies in rubles. Hungary believes that paying for Russian gas in rubles does not violate EU sanctions.
