Smartphones with flexible screens are not very scratch resistant on the display. In the Samsung Galaxy Fold, these problems were especially pronounced. It seems that Samsung is intent on fixing this flaw. It is reported that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will receive a layer of protection against scratches.
Insiders have discovered Samsung's trademarks – Armor Frame and Pro-Shield – designed for smartphones. These are probably the names of the new frames and finishes. Pro-Shield most likely belongs to a protective coating similar to Ceramic Shield. In addition, Samsung has registered the Armor Skin and Armor Layer trademarks. The latter, as they say, belongs to the protective layer for flexible screens.
The presence of such a layer will allow you to use the S Pen stylus with the Galaxy Z Fold 3. It will not leave marks on the screen.
