Samsung Electronics intends to support Samsung Biologic, which will deal with the contract manufacturing of the COVID-19 vaccine, Moderna.
Morderna previously announced that there was a problem with an overseas vaccine plant. The announcement has raised concerns among Samsung Biologics as the company prepares to fill orders. These preparations would be useless if the raw materials for the vaccines did not come from foreign enterprises.
In any case, Samsung Biologics will prepare its production line to start the process as soon as the vaccine solutions arrive. One of the most important things in this kind of production is keeping the sites clean. Samsung Electronics will provide its room cleaning technology.
Apart from the United States and Europe, Moderna's creators chose Korea as the only country for contract vaccine production.
