Samsung will release a smartphone with a camera that has a record resolution. The company announced this on its Twitter.
A teaser of the new smartphone has been published on the social networks of the Korean corporation – namely, the division that manufactures the processors. According to a short video, the camera of the device will have six lenses, one of which will receive a record resolution of 200 megapixels. The layout of the details resembles the design of the main camera of the flagship smartphones of the Galaxy S21 series.
Also, the shown device received a dual front camera. At the end of the video, it is demonstrated that the smartphone is powered by an Exynos 2100 processor. The chip page on the company's website indicates that the device operates at a frequency of up to 2900 megahertz, interacts with artificial intelligence, supports displays with a resolution of up to 4K, video recording with a resolution of up to 8K at a frequency of 60 frames per second, RAM format LPDDR5.
Apparently, the shown device is a demonstration and does not exist in working form. Company representatives did not disclose information about when smartphones with six cameras will appear on the market.
Earlier, Samsung top managers in a report to shareholders of the corporation confirmed that the release of the Galaxy Note series smartphones in 2021 may not take place. The company decided to skip the release of flagships due to a shortage in the semiconductor market.
