Samsung has shown a display that is stretchable. The new technology has been demonstrated on YouTube .
It turned out that the OLED panel, whose diagonal is 13 inches, can bend outward using a special mechanism. In fact, this means that South Korean developers have managed to add another dimension to the 2D surface of the screen that everyone is familiar with. Samsung did not disclose when it would begin shipping such screens to the electronics market. Perhaps such matrices will become the basis for large video panels in the near future. So far, flexible screen technology remains limited and expensive to use.
Meanwhile, Apple has announced the presentation of new iPhone models. The company will show new models of gadgets on September 14. The event is expected to announce four new smartphones, Apple Watch, updated AirPods and MacBook Pro. The new iPhones are expected to have the same screen sizes but better cameras, support for higher resolution video recording and portrait mode in video. Also coming this year's models are the faster A15 processors, a smaller notch at the top of the screen, and an improved display.

This is the largest OS update in the last decade, but based on many principles as the previous versions of the program.
