But according to popular internet insider Ice Universe, the Korean tech giant's leadership position is temporary. As an analogy, he drew attention to the 5G smartphone space.
Yes, at the very beginning Samsung was in the lead in this area as well. But today it is only in fourth place, behind Apple, Oppo and Vivo. The same fate, says an insider, awaits the foldable smartphone market.
It will be enough for Chinese manufacturers to lower the prices of their flexible phones, and buyers will immediately switch to their phones. And given that technologies are getting cheaper anyway, this will happen sooner or later – the only question is how soon it will happen.
