Samsung's line of inexpensive Galaxy A smartphones is very popular. Not least because of the good price / quality ratio. But, apparently, the company will suspend the release of new devices in the lineup due to the worldwide shortage of semiconductors.
According to Android Authority, the South Korean giant is facing significant challenges in purchasing chips from Qualcomm. So, for example, the vendor cannot get enough Snapdragon 720G and Snapdragon 750G, which could be used in smartphones of the Galaxy A line.
Note that representatives of Dell and Intel have already spoken about the timing of the deficit. According to experts, the global shortage of semiconductors will not end for at least the next few years.
