It seems that the flagships of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series are not in high demand compared to previous generations of smartphones. Why – we can only guess.
The Galaxy S21 line was presented six months ago, and during this time its sales only fell. Samsung managed to deliver only 13.5 million smartphones of this series. This makes the Galaxy S21 one of the worst-selling Galaxy S in history.
The new models sell 20% worse than the Galaxy S20 and 47% worse than the Galaxy S10. In the first six months after the launch, sales of the Galaxy S20 in pieces amounted to 17 million, and sales of the Galaxy S10 – 25.5 million.
Interestingly, Samsung was likely anticipating weak demand. This is why the company has been postponing the launch of smartphones – to avoid competing with other brands. However, it didn't work.
