The director of the Sambo-70 sports school, Renat Laishev, reacted to the transfer of the Russian figure skater, and now coach Yulia Lipnitskaya, to the Angela Plushenko academy. His words are quoted by “Championship.com”.
Laishev said that they did not take offense at Lipnitskaya because the former athlete did not go to her native school from her own training complex, where she worked earlier. “This is a good move [from the Angels management] – we need to strengthen the coaching base,” he said.
