En-Nesyri
Red Bull Salzburg started the Champions League season with a 1-1 draw at group favorite Sevilla.
A sensation was even possible against the strong Spaniards, the Bulls were awarded three penalties in the first round, only Luka Sucic scored in the 21st minute. On the other side, Ivan Rakitic equalized 1-1 after the fourth penalty in the game (42nd).
After the break, Austria's series champions even outnumbered them for over 40 minutes after Seville striker Youssef En-Nesyri had made an embarrassing swallow. The attacker had tried in the 50th minute to shield the fifth penalty in the game. En-Nesyri danced past Maxi Wöber and Oumar Solet in the penalty area, suddenly went down spectacularly.
However, without having been touched by a Salzburg citizen beforehand. But on the contrary. En-Nesyri took off, sailed onto the lawn – a crystal clear swallow. Referee Aleksey Kulbakov didn't fall for the clumsy attempt and pulled out the yellow card. For the Sevilla player, however, it was the second warning. En-Nesyri flew off the field with a yellow-red.
