The diHouse company introduced smart waste baskets – Townew. These are several models that differ in volume, battery capacity and, accordingly, battery life.
For example, the Townew T1 has a volume of 15.5 liters and weighs 3.2 kg. A sensor is mounted in the lid of the device – if you move your hand over it, the lid will open.
But this is not the only function of the bucket – it also knows how to seal packages. There are several LEDs inside the container to help determine the volume of the contents. To start the sealing procedure, you need to hold your finger on the touch button for 3 seconds.
Moreover, if there is little debris, the bucket will seal the bag without opening the lid. If the bucket is full, start sealing with the lid up. In any case, all that remains is to take the bag and throw it away without touching the trash. The 2200 mAh battery allows the basket to work without recharging for up to a month. Townew T1 cost – about 9000 rubles.
Another model, the Townew T Air X, is a lighter and smaller version. Its volume is 13.5 liters, weight – 2.4 kg, autonomy – up to 40 days.
