Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who was taken from prison to a military hospital due to deterioration in his health after he declared a hunger strike, fainted after hearing about plans to return him back to the correctional facility, said the representative of the Ombudsman Anna Dzhaniashvili. TASS reports.

“Today I visited Mikhail Saakashvili. He told me that in the evening people came to him and said that they planned to take him out of the hospital, because of which he resisted, after which he does not remember anything. After he came to his senses, he was told that they were no longer going to transport him anywhere, ”said the representative of the Ombudsman of Georgia, speaking with the ex-head of state.
