Russia's losses in ten days of war against Ukraine exceeded 11 thousand people - General Staff

The total combat losses of Russia since its invasion of Ukraine on February 24, as of March 6, are approximately more than 11 thousand personnel.

Such data was published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, the Russian invaders have already lost 285 tanks, 985 armored fighting vehicles and 109 artillery systems.

Other losses of the aggressor:

  • multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) – 50;
  • means of air defense (air defense) – 21;
  • aircraft – 44;
  • helicopters – 48;
  • automotive equipment – 447;
  • light speedboats – 2;
  • tanks – 60;
  • unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the operational-tactical level – 4.

The data is being clarified as the count is complicated by the high intensity of hostilities.

The General Staff assured that the Ukrainian defenders and defenders hold certain positions and destroy enemy manpower and equipment. Meanwhile, the enemy, despite significant losses, is throwing hundreds of supporters of the “Russian world” into battle. In particular, in the Lugansk region, the entire front line is strewn with corpses and lined equipment of the invaders.

On March 5 alone, more than 650 wounded representatives of the Russian troops were brought to the central city hospital in the village of Bryanka, Luhansk region, from forward positions. Most of them are from the Popasnian direction.

All of them are mostly in serious condition: multiple shrapnel wounds, severed limbs of the legs or arms. Due to the lack of free places in the hospital, invaders who have received minor bodily injuries (concussions, minor injuries) are not even admitted to a medical facility.

After providing first aid, they, accompanied by an armed escort from among the regular troops of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, are moved to the line of combat clashes for the introduction of further hostilities as “cannon fodder”.

It is also known that the personnel of the 6th separate motorized rifle regiment is frightened and demoralized, looking for ways to desert.
