Russia's invasion of Ukraine is an attack on the UN statute and every member country – the United States

US Permanent Representative to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield said that the organization's Security Council will vote for a resolution to hold Russia accountable for the attack on Ukraine.

– Russia's attack on Ukraine is an attack on the UN Charter and every UN member state. Tomorrow the Security Council will vote on a resolution to hold Russia accountable. We ask each UN member state to become one of the sponsors of this action at a difficult time for Ukraine,” she said on her Twitter.
