Russia has a conflict with Azerbaijan over a brutal raid against the Azerbaijani diaspora in Yekaterinburg. Putin is behaving irresponsibly in the Caucasus.
Oleg Rybachuk, chairman of the analytical and advocacy organization “Center for Joint Actions,” told Channel 24 about this. According to him, Russians generally have a bad attitude toward all nationalities living inside their “prison of nations.”
Russia is engaged in ethnic cleansing
As Rybachuk noted, Russians constantly say that in Russia everyone is “Russian” – and there are no conflicts between them. Then various ethnic cleansings and detentions begin, as in the case of Azerbaijanis.
Russians are carrying out ethnic cleansing. Before that, they “hunted” Kyrgyz and Uzbeks. They have offensive names for every nationality. There is no nation for which Russians have not come up with several offensive words, Rybachuk noted.
Such hatred towards all other nationalities will eventually lead to the collapse of Russia, which is trying to be an empire.
Putin is generally irritated by the independent policy of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. He has been strengthening the army there for a long time. Azerbaijan also skillfully manages its own oil and gas reserves, which gives them considerable influence.
Putin is irritated by Azerbaijan's demonstratively independent policy. But Russia is a “unique” country. They are simultaneously in the acute phase of a conflict with Armenia. It interferes in the affairs of the local church. There have already been statements from the Armenian Foreign Ministry so that Russia does not stick its nose into their affairs, Rybachuk emphasized.
