"Возможности России уже не те": как события в Мали повлияют на отношение к "вагнеровцам" во всем мире

"Wagnerites" at a certain stage, they launched very active activities in the African direction.

After the events in Mali, the whole world sees that Russia's potential and capabilities are far from those that there will be fewer new orders.

This was reported on the air of the only telethon by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate Andrey Yusov.

“Not only for the specific Wagner group, but for the entire terrorist group, which is the Russian Federation, of course, this (the events in Mali, – ed.) will have consequences. At a certain stage, they launched active operations in the African direction. Not only their mercenaries. They tried to solve geopolitical and economic issues, change or support certain governments. And today the whole world sees that this is no longer the same potential and Russia's capabilities are far from the same. And this means that there will be fewer new orders and reliance on them as a tool for solving problems in the region,” Yusov explained.

He also added that he would not voice the details, but there will be a continuation.

Answering the host's question about the alleged proposals of the Malaya rebels to transfer captured “Wagnerites” to Ukraine, Yusov noted that this is sensitive information, and everything that Ukraine does is within the framework of international law and the necessary procedures.

“Such information was , and, of course, it is monitored and checked. This is a sensitive process, so we will not comment on the details,” he said, quoting Kirill Budanov’s words that Russian war criminals will receive fair punishment in different parts of the world, wherever they may be.

Recall that in the Republic of Mali in northwest Africa, local Tuareg rebels ambushed and destroyed a column with dozens of Russian mercenaries from the Wagner PPK.
