In 2022, Russians will begin to issue sick leave in a new way. In particular, the paper certificate of incapacity for work will be replaced with an electronic one, and the amount of sick leave payments will also change. This was reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
Electronic sick leave will become mandatory from January 2022. In addition, information about sick leave will come from the clinic directly to the Social Insurance Fund (FSS), which in turn will inform the employer.
“The amount of sick leave payments directly depends on the average earnings over the past two years. In 2022, you can count on a maximum of 2,572 rubles 60 kopecks per day, or about 80 thousand rubles per month, ”the newspaper writes.
Women who have issued a sick leave for pregnancy and childbirth will no longer need to provide it to their employer, since the FSS will transfer money automatically.
Earlier it became known that almost half of the residents of Russia (48 percent) are afraid to apply for sick leave even during the coronavirus pandemic due to fear of losing income. Another 18 percent indicated that they are worried about problems with leadership.
