The Russians who bought the iPhone 13 on the very first day rushed to resell them several times more expensive. The markup for the new line averaged 11-12%.
Just a few hours after the official start of sales of the new iPhone 13 models, some Russians began to resell smartphones at a premium. This was reported to RIA Novosti in the press service of the “Announcements” service of the social network “VKontakte”.
On average, the markup was 11-12%. On September 14, Apple unveiled the new iPhone 13 smartphone with a larger battery and improved display. According to the data on the official website of the company, the cost of a new smartphone starts from 79.88 thousand rubles, iPhone 13 Pro – from 99.99 thousand rubles, iPhone 13 mini – from 69.99 thousand rubles, iPhone 13 Pro Max – from 109.99 thousand rubles rubles.
The largest markup was recorded when the iPhone 13 Pro Max was sold at 1TB – the device is sold 1.5 times more expensive than on the official Apple website.
And one more news, but now for those who are not going to change their iPhone yet. Apple has released a sudden update for older smartphones.
The iOS 12.5.5 update is intended for older iPhone and iPad models. The company's engineers said the update includes “noticeable fixes” and security improvements.
Devices for which the update is available include the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air, iPad mini 2 and iPad mini 3, and the 6th generation iPod touch. All of the above devices did not even support iOS 13, which was released in 2019.
Earlier it was reported that on the first day of iPhone 13 sales, Russians bought the most expensive smartphones of the new line.
